At Memie, we believe your personal data belongs to you and only you. That is why Memie is designed as a completely local and offline application. We do not collect, monitor, or store any of your data on external servers.
1. Overview
Memie ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Memie mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy outlines our strict policies regarding the privacy and security of your personal data.
Unlike traditional applications, Memie operates directly on your device. All functions, computations, and databases are hosted locally. There is no cloud backend, no account registration, and no tracking.
Plain-English summary: What happens on your device stays on your device. We have physically no way of reading, accessing, or selling your notes, tasks, or information.
2. Zero Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data, usage data, or telemetry. There is no background tracking, no advertising identifier tracking, and no analytics collection.

- Physical Security: The security of your data depends entirely on your device's physical security, passcodes, and encryption features (like Apple's Secure Enclave or Android's File-Based Encryption).
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Since we do not collect or hold any of your information, it is impossible for us to sell, lease, disclose, or share your data with advertisers, government entities, or other third parties.
We do not integrate any third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, or external APIs that could silently exfiltrate your device data.
5. Device Permissions
Memie may request system permissions to perform core offline actions (such as local notifications). These permissions are processed purely within your device operating system:
- Notifications: Used exclusively to deliver local, time-based alerts and task reminders. No notification data is sent across the network.
6. Data Deletion
Because your data is stored entirely on your local device, deleting the application will instantly and permanently erase all data, notes, and records associated with Memie from your device.
Please ensure you back up your device regularly, as we cannot recover any lost or deleted data for you under any circumstances.
7. Changes to This Policy
Although Memie will always remain a local-first application, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to check this page periodically for updates.
